Elvish Regular
Elvish Regular is a typeface inspired by the Elvish writing system from Dungeons & Dragons, reimagined as a usable Latin alphabet. The original script exists without uppercase, so this design follows that structure
to stay true to its source.
Each letter was shaped to preserve the fluid motion of the original
forms while maintaining consistency across the system.

A typeface rooted in fantasy, translated into structured, expressive letterforms.
Original Type Specimen Inspiration
Adapting the letterforms of the original Elvish script was guided by moments of visual similarity to Latin characters. Shown here are the letters “T” and “D” from the script, which resemble “b” and “d” and helped establish the directional logic of the typeface.
Each letter was developed with a consistent counter form and axis, maintaining a unified angle across diagonal strokes, as seen here.
